The ASAP Spelling Introductory Level workbook is a foundational program designed to quickly improve spelling proficiency for beginning level students. WORKBOOK LAYOUT
Each workbook lesson features 1-3 groups of spelling patterns. The spelling words are numbered and listed with handwriting guidelines next to each word, each with the correct number of lined spaces for the number of letters in each word. The student identifies the pattern and then practices writing the word, one letter per space. On the backside of the worksheet, students fold the paper and quiz themselves one word at a time. Upon re-opening the fold students check for mistakes and immediately identify if they have made a spelling error. If so, they erase and try again before moving on to the next word until they complete the spelling lesson.
